Himos Master Plan 2035 project started last fall in October 2017. During that fall and spring 2018, we have organized a survey to find out domestic tourism demands and held workshops for Himos’ tourism entrepreneurs, the counsel of city of Jämsä and Himos Master Plan working group. In addition, we have made surveys about international tourism demand, macro trends of tourism and landscape and nature values of Himos among other things.  We have also made several expert interviews to find out the best solutions to improve travelling at Himos.

Now Himos Master Plan project has progressed into travelling and land use idea phase. You can access to these ideas through the links below. The options are divided into the following main themes
